St. Peter's Church Colton

Built 1873-74 by architectural firm Paley and Austin, the design of the church is a "mountain chapel" style.

The mosaic reredos by Salviati are from 1883. They depict the four Evangelists in their symbolic forms - angel, lion, bull and eagle - surrounding the Lamb of God on a cross with two angels.
